PCT announced the date of discovery of Egypt

Egyptian resorts may be open to Russian tourists in the coming autumn, suggests Vice-President of the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RTS) Yuri Barzykin in an interview with Rossiyskaya Gazeta.

Barzykin said that together with the Egyptian side, the proper level of security at the airports is currently ensured.

“Egyptian airports may have separate terminals for Russians or multiple landing gates designed exclusively for our tourists.”

The Vice-President of the PCT does not exclude the possibility of the work of Russian special services in Egyptian airports. According to him, this will increase the level of security, as a result, resorts in Egypt can be opened to Russians in the fall.

At the same time, the vice-president of the RST added that contacts between the Russian tourism industry and Egyptian colleagues can resume very quickly. Our tour operators have frozen deposits worth more than 1.5 billion rubles. So the same hotels paid for, said the expert.

Earlier, Egyptian authorities said they had fulfilled most of Russia’s conditions to resume air traffic. The Prosecutor General of the Arab Republic is expected to arrive in Moscow at the end of July to discuss this topic.
