Head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova is confident that tourism will become one of the promising sectors of the Russian economy in the coming decades, because recently it has received a serious impetus for development.
“Today we have a whole set of tools and a system that allows us to develop tourism, create business conditions and support regions. Irreversible processes of tourism development throughout the country are evident. Such an impetus has been given to the development of the industry that there is no way back. “...,” said Doguzova on October 2 at a meeting with representatives of the tourism industry in Nalchik.
According to her, before that, the country paid more attention to the development of industry, and less to the service sector, the tourism industry, which "directly affects the appearance of regions, the country and the quality of life of people on the ground."
“There are hundreds, thousands of settlements where only through the development of tourism can improve people’s lives, save and create jobs,” she said.
