Russian Railways introduces a special tariff depending on the duration of ticket sales
OJSC "FPC" (a subsidiary of JSC "Russian Railways") from August 18 opens the sale of tickets at special rates in long-distance compartment cars in domestic traffic departing from October 1 to December 26, 2012, the website of Russian Railways.
- when buying a ticket in the period from 45 to 31 days before the date of departure of the train, the ticket will cost 50% cheaper (the special tariff does not apply simultaneously with the Student tariff, which provides the opportunity to purchase a ticket to the top shelf of compartment cars by 50% cheaper);
- when buying a ticket in the period from 30 to 11 days before the date of departure of the train, the fare remains unchanged;
When buying a ticket in the period from 10 days to the date of departure of the train, the ticket will cost 10% more.
Restrictions on the use of special tariffs: special tariffs do not apply when issuing group transportation, as well as when issuing tickets for trains plying in communication with the Kaliningrad region, since transportation in compartment and seat-card cars in communication with the Kaliningrad region are subsidized.
