From February 15, Aeroflot will tighten the rules for passengers

The rules of control with the updated requirements will be effective from February 15. The new conditions will apply at all airports of the route network. When boarding, the company’s specialists will check passengers’ hand luggage with special measuring devices for compliance with the airline’s standards in terms of size, weight, number of seats.

 

In case of non-compliance, the person will have to issue it as checked baggage. If the free baggage allowance provided for by the ticket is exceeded, a person will be obliged to pay for excess baggage. Failure to pay gives the airline the right to prevent a person from flying.

 

Aeroflot is going to increase responsibility for unauthorized opening of emergency exits on board the aircraft. The warning is addressed primarily to passengers sitting in rows near such exits.

 

If the fact of independent opening of exits and ignoring the requirements of the crew is recorded, violators will be brought to administrative / criminal liability in accordance with the current legislation. If the fact of damage to the aircraft and / or flight delay is confirmed, compensation for damage should be prepared.
