The safest countries for recreation: the ranking

The top countries were formed by several indicators – the level of crime, the threat to health, the possibility of terrorist attacks and natural disasters.

Iceland It was able to win with a score of 6.6 points on the safety index mainly due to the first three indicators – low crime rate and high security, since in the ranking of the probability of natural disasters, the volcanic island, “famous” in tourism by the eruption of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano, is also in the top three.

United Arab Emirates They lag behind Iceland by a hundredth of a point, their rating is also 6.6. Singapore I got a 6.2 on the list. In the top five, Spain and Australia. Then they go. Canada. JapanMorocco, Jordan and barbados.

Interestingly, some countries that are considered to be in demand among tourists, were on the other end of the list – for example, dangerous for travelers called. Turkey and Thailand. The main risks are the high level of crime, the danger of terrorist attacks and infection with dangerous diseases.
