"The most beautiful villages and towns of Russia": the village of Konstantinovo joined the Association of small beautiful settlements

At the entrance to the village has already installed a memorial sign with the inscription "The most beautiful villages and towns of Russia".

As noted by the President of the Association Alexander Merzlov, Konstantinovo became the 33rd in the list of the most beautiful villages in Russia. Logistically located very advantageous, closest to Moscow, and that will help the growth of tourist flow.

“Konstantinovo also becomes a member of the Federation of the Most Beautiful Villages and Towns of the World, because the Association is a member of this federation and a plenipotentiary representative. The nature of these places is unique <...> But we still have a lot to do together to make Konstantinovo a benchmark for the development of rural areas of the Ryazan region and the country as a whole, Merzlov said.

The village of Konstantinovo is located on the picturesque high right bank of the Oka, 43 km north-west of Ryazan.

Konstantinovo is known for the fact that here on October 3, 1895 (in the new style) was born the Russian poet Sergei Yesenin. Here is the State Museum-Reserve of the poet.
