How much money are Russians willing to spend on summer holidays?
Russians with an average income in 2021 plan to spend on vacation 40 thousand rubles, in 2020 – 49.5 thousand.
Kirill Rodin, Director of work with public authorities VTSIOM said that our compatriots with a good financial situation will spend on vacation more than 50 thousand per person. Those who reported poor financial situation – 31.1 thousand rubles.
This year, from 22% to 30%, the share of those who will spend current funds on vacation and will not save has increased. At the same time, 36% save money for rest. Among those who do not plan to go on vacation, 40% cited lack of funds as the main reason.
The awareness of Russians about the state cashback program for tours in Russia has grown, which allows to receive a 20% refund for holidays in Russian resorts and cities. In 2020, only 19 percent knew the program well and 51 percent had heard it. In 2021, 31 percent said they knew well and 45 percent said they had heard. 24% do not know about the action in May 2021.
