How much money are Russians willing to spend on travel?

Specialists of the service Aviasales conducted a study among five thousand users.
A third of respondents (33%) save a quarter of their salary to afford travel in Russia or abroad.

28% of respondents save for vacation, saving at least half a salary monthly. Some people say that they do not know how to save money and spend all their savings solely on travel, whether it is a summer holiday in Crimea or on the coast of Turkey.

One in five (22%) manage to go on vacation, spending only 10% of their income.

The remaining 17% of travelers said that they spend all the money earned on travel: some live with their parents and do not pay rent for apartments and meals, others, mostly women, use their partner’s salary for a living, and personal – for tourism.
