How much money did Russians spend on vacation? Information from insurers
Insurers inform how much money tourists spent on summer holidays, as well as where and how Russians spent vacations.
In “Rosgosstrakh Life” and “Rosgosstrakh” reported that 61% of Russians in June and July one or more times made trips, mainly to domestic resorts – so answered 48%.
31% went on excursions in Russian cities. 27% spent time in nature near their city. 12% went abroad. One in five respondents said that they planned a tourist trip in August, and almost all – to Russian resorts or outside the city.
58% of tourists vacation cost up to 50 thousand rubles per family member. 29% spent up to 150 thousand rubles, and 13% - more than this amount.
Actual costs were lower than planned. Up to 50 thousand rubles were ready to give for tours 32% of Russians, up to 150 thousand – 40%.
45% purchased travel insurance before the trip, and 42 percent of holidaymakers who went on vacation in Russia used tourist cashback.
Vacation helped the majority of respondents recover, 66% said. One in three admitted that they do not feel rested and would not mind extending the vacation. This may be due to the fact that one in two respondents worked while on vacation, with 19% staying busy at least half of the trip.
