How much do tours to the resorts of Europe cost?
Almost all European countries that were included in the booking ratings in the pre-pandemic years, in 2022, are available to Russians without coved restrictions on entry, but due to problems with air travel, tourist flow is not restored.
Tour operators named the European destinations that are most in demand in the summer season-2022.
According to the Association of tour operators of Russia, the ranking is headed by Italy, the top includes Greece, Cyprus, Croatia and Spain.
Travel to Europe in the summer season-2022 rose in price on average from one and a half to two times in comparison with the pre-pandemic 2019 year jump in prices for air travel.
Tickets to the resorts of Greece and Cyprus will cost from 900 to 1500 euros, and last year, in conditions of a shortage of direct transportation, the price of the flight was from 500 to 700 euros. In the pre-pandemic period, the average ticket price was 300-350 euros.
It is difficult to name unambiguously budget options for connecting flights to Europe, especially for the coming dates. Therefore, the main recommendation is to book trips in advance, a few months in advance.
At the same time, if we talk only about ground service, prices are acceptable, from 16 thousand rubles for two for a stay in a hotel of the category "two stars" in Spain. But due to the cost of air travel, the overall budget for vacations in Europe grows by an order of magnitude.
The lack of direct flights, the high cost of connecting flights and the inability to pay abroad with cards of Russian banks are the main reasons for the limited demand.
The demand is affected by the visa factor. To travel to EU countries, Russians need Schengen or national visas of EU countries, and obtaining them today can take a long time.
