How many tourists visited Rosa Khutor during the summer?

About 850 thousand tourists visited the Rosa Khutor resort in Sochi from May 1 to November 8, 2021, which is 6% more than in the same period in 2020.

General Director of the resort Alexander Belokobylsky said: This summer season has been difficult for us. In June-July, the number of guests was quite encouraging, but since the beginning of August, due to the introduction of new rules for settling in hotels in the Krasnodar Territory, we felt a significant decrease in tourist flow.

According to Belokobylsky, the priority direction of development of the resort in the next summer season will be natural tourism.

“Today, we are in the process of completing an additional network of hiking routes over 40 kilometers in length. Between them for the rest of tourists will be well-equipped campsites. Next year, one such camp will be able to host the first guests.

Last summer, the resort offered guests 100 km of hiking trails and new routes organized jointly with the Sochi National Park.

Particularly popular was the Mendelikha Waterfall Park, where you can see the highest waterfall in the vicinity of Sochi (77 meters) - Golden. Among the hiking routes with guides of the Outdoor Recreation Center, the most popular was the "Khargin Forest" (in total, 8 routes operated). Its length is 14 km, which takes about 6 hours of walking in the relict forest among the thickets of pilgrims with human growth and immense beeches, the press service said.

The most popular among the attractions of the resort was Rodelban - on the "summer sleigh" for the season rolled almost 20% of the guests. In addition, daily more than a thousand people visited the ethnographic complex "My Russia", which includes 11 pavilions built in the style of individual cities and regions of the country.
