Iceland's tranquility is over

The sky over Europe is again in danger, thanks to another volcano that has just woken up. So, meteorological experts of Iceland already observed at an altitude of 8 kilometers cloud of smoke from the volcano Grimsvotn, and within a few days can begin and the eruption itself. Prior to this eruption, Grimsvotna was in 1996, 1998 and 2004. There were underwater eruptions, leading to melting of ice and flooding of the surrounding area with warm waters. The last eruption was accompanied by a significant release of ash into the atmosphere, in connection with which air traffic with the international airports of Torshavn, Akureyri and Reykjavik was disrupted for more than 2 weeks. So now passengers and air carriers are preparing for the worst, as scientists do not rule out the emergence of a new ash blockade. Recall that in April of this year, due to the eruption of the hard-to-pronounce Eyjafjallajokull, a huge number of passengers had to change their plans for flights, since the sky over Europe was closed.
