The demand for foreign tours began to grow again
The strengthening of the Russian currency last week is still one of the most pressing topics. The stability of the ruble in the tourism sector is especially noticeable - the interest of Russians to foreign tours has again begun to grow. A month ago, the preferences of Russian citizens were on the side of travel in Russia. Now the “revival” began in the direction of traditional “sea directions” and, oddly enough, in the direction of Europe. Euro at the price of 55 rubles is already frightening less, so most tourists began to order tours to Paris, Prague, Budapest, Barcelona.
According to experts, began active booking for the May holidays. Well dispersed sea resorts, where in may you can swim and sunbathe. This is primarily Egypt and the Emirates. There is also growing demand for Turkish and Bulgarian hotels (although it is not very warm in early May). As usual, tours on special offers sell well. Analysts are confident that in two or three weeks a surge in sales in the line of “burning tours” will begin. And in almost all southern directions.
Now you can also find profitable offers on VIP destinations. And not only for the usual premium Seychelles or Maldives. Tourist interest in “expensive” Egypt and Turkey is also growing.
Although, despite this positive and revival, the demand for seasonal tours is still far behind compared to the previous year. For example, the flow of tourists for the May holidays this year is almost 40% less than last year. Unfortunately, the sharp drop in the global currency last week did not provoke an equally sharp spike in tourist purchases. But, again, the demand, albeit gradually, is recovering - and this is pleasing.
