“Turkey traditionally ranks first among foreign destinations,” Gorin said.

Among Russian tourists, the Krasnodar Territory - Sochi and Gelendzhik, as well as the Azov and Caspian Seas, the Leningrad region are in greatest demand. In the segment of excursion tourism, Moscow, St. Petersburg and Kazan are leading. Domestic tourism in Russia has grown by 8% this year.

In turn, Artur Muradyan, Vice-President of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, noted that with the launch of direct flights from Moscow, Myanmar will be able to compete with Vietnam and Thailand, thanks to affordable hotel prices. He added that without direct flights, trips there remain long and expensive.
