Saturday in the Scottish Mountains
The British ski club organises extensive cleaning in the Scottish mountains. The organizers of this action plan to clean 2 ski resorts - Cairngorm, Nevis Range. This action will begin on the twentieth of June. A year ago, about 160 people took part in a similar program. Even tourists who came to enjoy the beauty of Scotland, did not remain indifferent. And thanks to their efforts, 50 huge garbage bags were collected during the action. On the ski slopes, volunteers found plastic bottles, sleds, ski poles and even chocolate bars. This season will be the third for the general spring cleaning. The organizers believe that such a project is extremely important for the environment, since it will not only clear the area by the summer, but also possibly affect the minds of vacationers.
