Sverdlovsk region will develop railway tours

From April, the region will launch additional electric trains "Swallow" to Kamensk-Uralsky. The journey will take an hour and a half.
“For tourists, our key museums will work – local lore, geological, you can book an excursion to the bell factory, ride a river tram, visit motocross competitions,” said Marina Chistyakova, director of the Kamensk-Urals Tourism Development Center.
The regional government and Russian Railways are working on the development of railway tourism using a network of suburban routes.
Earlier, the region opened the opportunity to travel on an exclusive trip with a thematic car on the "Imperial route" (Yekaterinburg - Alapayevsk and back). In 2021, the tour was used by more than 2.5 thousand people, including travelers from France and Turkey.
