Sverdlovsk musical comedy plans to overcome about 12 thousand kilometers for the sake of the residents of the Sverdlovsk region.
The geography of the tour of the Sverdlovsk Theater of Musical Comedy is very wide, the theater visited Moscow, St. Petersburg, Minsk, Crimea, Sochi and other cities of our country. Over the past decade, the theater team has played more than a dozen world premieres, brought to Yekaterinburg a total of seventeen highest national theater awards “Golden Mask”, raised a new generation of artists and spectators, preserving the main law of their creative life – to be consonant with time.
Having a dense repertory poster and touring schedule, the theater administration finally found the opportunity and the summer of 2016 decided to devote to their native land – the Sverdlovsk region. The unprecedented geography of the summer tour of the theater includes more than 60 settlements of the Sverdlovsk region, which will host about 20 performances and concerts with the participation of artists and groups of the theater.
The theatrical marathon starts in mid-July and ends only at the end of August. Among the settlements of the tour: Serov, Krasnouralsk, Revda, Upper Pyshma, Sukhoi Log, Kirovgrad, Nizhny Tagil, Serov, Krasnoturinsk, Severuralsk, Nevyansk, Nizhny Tura, Lesnoy, Sysert, Asbestos, Artemovsky, Bogdanovich, Alapayevsk, Kamyshlov, Irbit, Turinsk, Talytsia, Bazhenovsky, State Farm "Manchazhsky", Krasnoufimsk, Nizhnye Sergiyiye, Karhimsk, Karhimsk, Karhimsk and Kamsk.
The administration of Sverdlovsk Music Comedy selected for the residents of the Sverdlovsk region the best performances of the repertory poster of the theater. For theatergoers of Nizhny Tagil, the best productions will be shown during seven evenings: operettas “Vienna Blood” and “Countess Maritsa”, the immortal comedy “Aunt Charlie”, the Broadway legend “Fiddler on the Roof” and the musical blockbuster “Catherine the Great”.
Lyrical comedy "French Scandal" will be able to see residents of Krasnouralsk, Krasnoturinsk, Severouralsk, Nizhny Tura, Forest and Artie.
In Serov, the theater troupe will hold three evenings with performances: “Circus Princess”, “Soviet Park” and “French Scandal”.
The play “Aunt Charlie” with the charming music of Oscar Feltsman, which was staged by the main director of the theater Kirill Strezhnev, will be seen by residents of Sukhoi Log, Nizhny Tagil, Nevyansk, Syserty, Asbestos, Artemovsky, Irbit, Talitsa, Bazhenovsky, the state farm “Manchagsky”, Nizhnye Sergey and Kachkanar. As in the best examples of cinema, the performers here are chosen perfectly: they are so young and good-looking that they will not want to part with them. It is the actor’s ensemble – talented, infectious, gambling – that is what is needed for a one hundred percent comedy.
The production of “Dear Sinners” – a half-truth in two parts will be shown in Revda, Bogdanovich, Alapayevsk, Kamyshlov and Krasnoufimsk. Romantic performance to the music of Soviet composers "Park of the Soviet period" will be a gift for Irbit.
Four evenings the troupe of the Sverdlovsk musical comedy will give the residents of Kamensk-Uralsky, for which they will play one of the best productions of the theater – the operetta “Vienna Blood”, the fantasy performance “Romans with Paris”, a fairy tale in one action “Between the sun and the rain” and a romantic performance to the music of Soviet composers “Park of the Soviet period”.
Immediately after returning to Yekaterinburg, the theater will begin preparations for the opening of the 84th season.
The troupe of the theater will have to overcome a distance of about 12 thousand kilometers to present its art to the residents of the Sverdlovsk region. Having covered the same distance in a straight line, you can reach the North Pole and return to Yekaterinburg.
