A snake surprise.

Every year, wildlife conservation organizations, together with customs officers, warn travelers that unusual souvenirs in the form of exotic plants, corals and bags made of crocodile or snake skin can lead to great trouble. Serious fines await those who decide to smuggle tiger bone medicines, turtle shell bracelets or Pacific shells. But what about a tourist who smuggles out of the country without knowing it? This happened to a resident of Munich. She traveled to Egypt and on her return found a 20-centimeter snake at the bottom of her suitcase. The unexpected companion slept quietly, but the woman, being in a state of shock, called the firefighters, who were able to establish the harmlessness of this reptile. It is not known whether the scaly “traveler” has returned to her homeland.
