Tbilisi recognized as the most affordable city in Europe for foreigners
Capital Georgia Tbilisi Topped the list of the most affordable cities in Europe for foreign travelers. The city scored 8.37 out of 10, putting it in the top ten European tourist destinations.
When forming the rating, they took into account: the cost of accommodation in hotels, food, wine, taxi and public transport services, the availability of attractions.
By these criteria, Tbilisi far surpasses other European cities, making it attractive for visitors on any budget.
- Hotel accommodation for two nights in Tbilisi costs 162 euros, which is lower than the average results for EU countries;
The average price of a two- or three-course dinner for two is 78 euros.
Wine lovers will appreciate the cost of two bottles - just 13 euros, which makes Tbilisi competitive compared to Eastern Europe and the Balkans.
The average price of a taxi is 3.90 euros.
