Turkey is ready to offer Russians another type of tourism
Turkey is ready to offer Russian tourists another type of tourism - vaccine tourism.
Such information was provided by experts of the Turkish Association of Private Hospitals and Medical Organizations of Turkey (OHSAD), who specifically requested the Turkish Ministry of Health.
We are talking about vaccination with the Pfizer vaccine, which is expected to be in demand by our compatriots.
According to the website of the Turkish Association, tourists sent a request to the Turkish Ministry of Health whether the vaccine against COVID-19 will be administered to foreign citizens who do not live in Turkey and do not have a residence permit, i.e. tourists, and what fee will be charged to them.
The response of the Ministry noted the Turkish diplomacy – the vaccine itself is free, but the tourist can apply only for a fee.
The Director of the General Department of Health of the Ministry of Health of Turkey Ahmet Tekin said that tourists each injection will cost 400 Turkish liras – about 4.4 thousand.
The Ministry of health added that the right to accept applications from tourists will have “medical institutions licensed by the Ministry of health”. Tourists must be vaccinated under the supervision of persons authorized by provincial administrators working in provincial health departments.
Vaccination will be available in private and public clinics. Tourists will be able to obtain a European vaccination certificate.
