Turkey extends beach season

Turkey This year I decided to please tourists and extend the beach season until November. This is due to the fact that tour operators and hotels expect a serious increase in the flow of tourists.

This year’s beach season starts in May, and will close not in September, as usual, but in November. Experts of the tourism sector and hotel owners believe that such an increase in the duration of the season is justified, because the number of reservations allows us to predict the growth of demand for this tourist destination due to recent and current events in the Middle East and North Africa.

According to preliminary data, in the first months of this year, the total number of foreigners visiting the republic increased by 16.5 percent, compared with the same period last year. At the same time, a significant part of them are tourists who came to the country to relax and get acquainted with the sights. All this gives Turkish tour operators reason to hope that Turkey will stay in the top three in the season. About 300,000 tourists are waiting from Russia.
