Compared to July last year, Turkey became more popular by 7 percent - the share of requests for Turkey in the search for the online tour booking service OnlineTur.ru reached 33.6%. In a situation of falling demand for European destinations, there was a redistribution of tourist flow, in particular, the popularity of Turkey has increased. Therefore, tour operators, the main directions of which are European countries, suffer big losses, - says the founder of the onlineTur.ru tour booking service Andrey Borodin.
Prices for burning tours to Turkey, compared to July 2013 decreased - the Index of Burning Tours in Turkey is 9206 rubles (in July 2013 - 9 347 rubles). Such a fall in price does not seem insignificant, given that the dollar and the euro have significantly increased over the year. Cyprus can also boast of reducing the average minimum cost of tours. The dumping here is even more noticeable than in the Turkish direction - for the year tours fell by 20%, to 13,118 rubles! Other countries have not managed to keep holiday prices even at the level of the summer season of 2013. Tours to Egypt rose by 54% (IGT - 10 366 rubles). IGT in Greece increased by 24% to 12,609. Spain increased in price by 11% (IGT - 14 746 rubles).
Compared to June 2014, prices in all popular destinations climbed in July. This is due to the fact that the high tourist season is in full swing. However, you can still save money if you prefer burning tours. Another trend of July 2014 was the increased interest of tourists to exotic destinations. The online tour booking service records an increase in the number of requests for tours to the UAE (+27%), Vietnam (+25%), China (+25%), Sri Lanka (+17%), the Maldives (+14%), Cuba (+13%).
