Turkish hotel fines guests for uneaten food
A rather strange rule was introduced by one of the hotels in Turkey, working on the All-Inclusive system. To save money, the hotel owner began to fine guests who did not finish the food taken in the restaurant. About it in the group “Vkontakte” “Typical tourist” reported one of the guests.
The woman photographed the rules, among which was information about food: "If you do not finish the food and leave more than half of the food on the plate, the hotel administration charges a fine of 10 USD. Please do your best.” Restaurant staff are vigilant in following the rule.
Many users supported the initiative, noting that tourists often take much more food than they are able to eat.
The author of the post did not name the name of the hotel, but it is most likely about one of the hotels in Kemer. After posting information about the fines online, the hotel management canceled the unusual situation.
