The head of the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia Vladimir Kolokoltsev instructed to form units of tourist police in the cities of the Russian Federation, which will host the games of the world Cup 2018.
Irina Volk, the official representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs explains that the relevant structures will be created in St. Petersburg, Kazan and Sochi until May 5 – within the existing staffing of the PPS combat units. For other cities, it will be necessary to identify specialized groups from among police officers who speak foreign languages.
Employees of the tourist police can be recognized by the armband of the established sample.
