Tourist digital passport is developed for the regions
The press service of Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko reports that a standard model of a tourist digital passport will be created for the regions of the Russian Federation.
According to Chernyshenko, the digitization of tourist characteristics of the regions will be held with the participation of the analytical center under the government.
In early August, the public association “Opora Russia” proposed the government to develop a digital tourist passport for each region. It will contain a general description of the region, indicating existing industries and enterprises, large educational institutions, significant events and locations. It is expected that the introduction of such a document will facilitate the decision-making process on the development of local tourism infrastructure and federal support measures.
At the meeting, proposals were considered to optimize the procedure for issuing preferential loans at 3-5%, and the arrangement of tourist centers in cities was discussed.
