Tourists staying on Mount Barujari in Indonesia's Rijani National Park have refused to evacuate, continuing to take photos of the volcanic eruption despite the threat to life.
The service for the elimination of the consequences of natural disasters immediately after the eruption arrived on the mountain to evacuate tourists. The Telegraph reported that 1,023 tourists, including 639 foreigners, were on the mountain. However, many wanted to stay in the danger zone to observe and capture the eruption, some even hiding from officials.
