Tourists from China take over Europe
Three out of five Chinese respondents surveyed by the European Tourism Commission (ECT), or 58%, plan to travel internationally by the end of April 2018. European countries continue to be the number one destination for outbound tourism in China.
93% of respondents who plan to travel abroad in the first four months of this year will choose Europe. In China, air travel has become available to many citizens, affordable tariffs and the opening of visa centers also contribute to the growth of tourist flow.
Travelers from the Middle Kingdom in one trip include several directions. About 67% of respondents hope that their next holiday in Europe will last about a week, and during this time the tourist will be able to travel around a number of countries.
The most popular destinations: France, Germany, Italy. The Netherlands and the Czech Republic are also becoming popular with Chinese.
