Tour operators offer another route to Egypt - through Antalya
Tour operator Pegasus Touristik launched a new route to the city on Monday Egypt. Flights with travelers from Moscow and St. Petersburg flew to the Land of the Pyramids through Antalya.Turkey).
According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, in the near future six more cities can join the flight program: Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Krasnodar, Samara and Ufa. Flights to Antalya are operated by Nordwind Airlines. Travelers are then taken to Sharm el-Sheikh by Onur Air. It is planned that the docking in Antalya will last 2 hours.
Earlier, Pegasus analyzed several more options: the previously planned program through the airport of Ovda (Israel) was changed toroute to Egypt via Jordan, King Hussein aeropot in Aqaba. This program was abandoned due to the complicated and lengthy transfer of tourists to Egypt.
Despite the lack of direct charter flights from Russia to the resorts of the Red Sea, the delayed demand for holidays in Egypt, accumulated since 2015, caused a stir among tourists when announcing the first package tours.
Tourists are not afraid of even some inconvenience associated with transfers due to connecting flights, since charters are still prohibited.
