Tour operators predicted the growth of charter flights in Russia in the coming years

Director of the tour operator TUI Russia Taras Demura said that tourist charters to Baikal, Sakhalin, the Murmansk region and other regions of Russia, organized jointly with Rosturizm and local authorities, will fly in the coming years.

In September, flight programs to Kazan and the Tyumen region will begin.

We see the launch of charter programs in different regions of Russia as an investment opportunity <...> we plan to continue flying to Baikal, to cover the Far East. Now we are flying to Sakhalin, we have plans for Primorsky Krai and Kamchatka.

Speaking about the launch of new charter programs in Kazan and the Tyumen region, he noted that the company offers ready-made tours from 10 thousand rubles. “These are flights, accommodation, excursions, etc. I think that 10 thousand rubles can afford absolutely different strata of the population, this is quite an affordable price, said Demura.

On September 7, Yamal Airlines will start operating a charter program from Moscow to Tyumen, and on September 13 to Kazan.

The head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova said earlier that to increase the availability of new destinations for tourists this year, a program of subsidizing charters to the regions appeared.

Demura stressed that “it is important to create a base in which our customers will choose domestic tourism voluntarily, not because some borders are closed.”
