Tour operators predict an increase in the cost of summer travel to Turkey

In the summer of 2018, the cost of travel to Turkey will increase by about 15%. Experts of the tourism industry believe that this is due to the high demand for the destination, which is why holliers increase the price tag.

Holidays in Turkey in the organized segment of tourism on average will rise in price for Russians by 15% this year compared to last year. The increase in prices is due, among other things, to the fact that Turkish hoteliers have reduced the size of discounts for Russian tourists, said Sergey Tolchin, sales director of the tour operator NTC Intourist.

The press service of TUI Russia says that prices for vacations in the Republic of Turkey in the summer of 2018 will be higher than in 2017.

The press service of the tour operator Biblio-Globus informs that the increase in cost may be due to a good load of Turkish resorts from the European markets. Early booking sales in Turkey are quite active. Demand for summer dates is already 25% higher than last year. Currently, booking depth reaches September 2018, peak sales in May and the first summer months.”

The greatest demand among Russian travelers are family hotels 4-5* with an excellent price-quality ratio.

Earlier, major tour operators of Russia published information, according to which sales of tours to Turkey under the “early booking” campaign exceeded the volume of last year – there is an increase in demand even by 5 or more times.
