Tursib – 2013: Trumplin for development in the tourist market of Siberia
From April 11 to April 13, ITE Siberian Fair is holding the 23rd international tourist exhibition Tursib/SITT – 2013 in the Novosibirsk Expo Center.
One of the key industry events of the region will be held with the support of the Administration of the Novosibirsk Region and the Novosibirsk City Hall, which will present recreational resources in the exposition and hold events dedicated to the first results of the program for the development of domestic tourism in the regions of the Russian Federation on the example of NSO.
The business program of the exhibition includes activities with the support and participation of federal experts from the PCT and the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) regarding legal innovations in the legislation of the tourist business. The Embassy of Bulgaria together with ATOR will conduct certification of travel agents in the direction of Bulgaria, with the solemn presentation of diplomas. At the regional level, topical issues of the industry will be covered at round tables of professional associations “ROST Siberia” and NATO. B2B events, presentations and seminars of key market operators, the Novosibirsk part of Workshop STI will fill the conference halls - all for productive communication and improving the professional skills of representatives of travel agencies throughout the region.
In connection with the increasing interest of Russian tourists to the resorts of the CIS countries, offering a fairly budget vacation in the usual language environment, the recreational resources of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Belarus and other countries will be presented on Tursib. Delegations of sister cities of Novosibirsk, such as Minsk, Kharkov, Varna, are expected. The organizers are sure that Siberians will be interested in getting acquainted with new proposals.
Traditionally, spring-summer destinations will be presented at Tursib with a special emphasis on family and children’s recreation programs. The exhibition platform of Tursib will present the diversity of the tourist potential of Siberia at the stands of the Altai Territory and the Republic of Altai, Khakassia, the Kemerovo region, Tuva and the Krasnoyarsk Territory.
“Already now there is an increase in tour operators at the exhibition,” says Ekaterina Tochilo. Federal and local companies will present their proposals for both outbound and domestic tourism. The exposition of the exhibition will please the offers of regular participants - Anex tour, BSI Group, Coral Travel, DSBW, Mouzenidis Travel, Natalie Tours, Pac Group, Pegas Touristik, Tez Tour, ACRIS, Alean, Globus Tour, Olympia Risen, etc. For the first time, Biblio-Globus, ART-TUR, Rose of Winds and Terra-Minora will present their programs at the stands.
Within the framework of the Year of Germany in Russia, as many as two collective stands from this country will be organized at Tursib - the stand of Bavaria and the stand of Hesse. National Tourism Administrations of Thailand, Malaysia, Bulgaria. For the first time, the national tourist offices of Tunisia, Dubai, one of the largest hosting tour operators in the Maldives, Resort Life Maldives, are participating in the exhibition. In addition, the host tour operators of Greece, Vietnam, Turkey, China and other countries will be represented.
“For the development of the tourist destination, the consolidation of all structures is important,” says Ekaterina Tochilo. Strong links should be established between the different segments of the hospitality industry so that all market participants have an idea of what opportunities exist, who has and what to offer. We strive to make the Tursib exhibition such an effective platform for interaction.
