PR-Director of “Tez Tour” Larisa Akhanova says that now there are talks about city breaks in Cairo or Alexandria, combined with rest on the beaches of the Red Sea. For those who will use regular flights to Cairo, such tours will look like one or two nights in the Egyptian capital with visits to the most important historical attractions of Cairo, which include the National Museum, the pyramids of Giza, including the very first pyramid of Pharaoh Djoser, ancient fortresses, mosques, neighborhoods, after which the tourist can go by bus to the Red Sea.

 

Larisa Akhanova believes that little will change for travelers when purchasing such a tour package, since earlier about 85% of tourists bought a one-day excursion to Cairo with a transfer by bus, traveled from resorts to the capital. It's the opposite now.

 

For travelers, the usual “all inclusive” will remain. Hotels in Cairo prefer the breakfast + dinner system, but all excursions include lunch. “The new road from Cairo to Hurghada is safe and of very high quality ... we are talking about our own fleet, and these are comfortable buses with wi-fi, a toilet, a high standard of quality and safety, as well as our own service.”

 

A representative of Tez Tour noted that at present, even in the absence of flights, the first booking of hotels in Egypt for the coming March and April has begun.
