Off the coast of Phuket appeared dangerous jellyfish

Several dozen tourists vacationing in Phuket turned to medical institutions after receiving burns from a meeting with jellyfish. In this regard, on the beaches of Patong, Karon, Nayang, Knighton, Bangto, Surin, Kamala, Kata, Naiharn and Sirinath Marine National Park have already installed training posters describing first aid for such injuries.

At the moment, off the coast of Thailand, there is a cluster of dangerous jellyfish of several species, including the rather famous “Portuguese ship”. The latter species is dangerous even on land, because the long "tail" of the siphonophore does not lose its stinging properties. When faced with them, even lotions of vinegar, which are usually used for treatment, are useless.

In order to further protect tourists, several first aid stations are located near the beaches. There, any victim can get advice and undergo the necessary medical procedures.
