Which Russian village has the funniest name?

There are many interesting geographical sites in Russia, the ambiguous names of which discourage their guests and travelers passing by.

Among them are the river Despair in the Khabarovsk Territory, the village of Gore-Gryaz near Yaroslavl, the village of Tupitsa in the Perm Territory, the cheerful life in the Krasnodar Territory.

At the end of 2019, specialists of the Tutu service conducted a survey among residents of the country and named the settlement with the funniest name.

The settlement of the Mudny Mainland, the Usinsk city district, the Komi Republic, received 28 thousand votes and became famous throughout the country.

This village deserves attention not only because of the unusual name: there are familiar from childhood Russian landscapes and kind people. It is a place where the harshness of the climate is compensated by the warmth of the soul.
