Ural tourists will not wait for Egypt in 2017

The main budget direction of the autumn-winter season will be year-round Turkey.

Charter flights between Russia and Egypt, as reported by the newspaper “Izvestia”, citing its sources in diplomatic circles, will not be opened at least until the end of 2017. Only the resumption of regular flights is possible, but this is still in question, since the Russian side is still not sure about the safety of Egypt for holidaymakers. The reality of such forecasts is confirmed by experts of the Ural tourist market. According to Olga Gulyar, director of the Winter-Summer group of companies, every year the “simple” negatively affects the tourist infrastructure of Egypt.
“Egypt is still a very popular destination for recreation,” said Olga Gular. Throughout the year, tourists turn to us weekly with questions about when the country will become accessible and tour sales will begin. The latest news will certainly upset people. In addition, over the past 2 years, the tourist infrastructure of Egypt has partially declined - many hotels either went bankrupt or do not function, the quality of service is declining. If the destination were reopened now, the local tourism market would have funds to invest and the infrastructure would be fully restored within a year.”

An alternative to Egypt in the upcoming autumn-winter season will be the UAE and Turkey, the main resorts of which are reoriented to year-round work. Hotels in most Turkish resorts have indoor pools, so tourists will be comfortable to relax there in winter. In addition, a large volume of air transportation will remain, about 10 flights per week. This will allow tourists to vary the duration of rest from 3-5 days or more, as well as provide extremely low prices for vouchers, added Olga Golyar.

In addition, popular destinations this autumn and winter will be Thailand, Vietnam (Fukok Island), Bali. The issue of the volume of transportation to the Maldives and resorts of the Dominican Republic is being resolved.
