The innovation will not affect transit travelers and those who travel in the country and spent less than a day, and children under two years. The funds will be used to improve tourist infrastructure at airports, increase the number of foreign multilingual guides and free Wi-Fi in public transport.

Croatia It will increase the daily tourist tax by 25% during peak season. The innovation should affect all accommodation facilities, the exception will be camping, for them the amount of deductions will not change.

The innovation should not significantly affect the wallet of tourists: the tax will increase by about 8-10 Kuna, i.e. by 30 cents of the United States, or 20 rubles. Croatian Tourism Minister Gary Cappelli is confident that even after the increase, this fee remains one of the lowest.
