In 2022, the rules of entry of Russians to Cuba remained the same
The rules for the arrival of foreigners to Cuba from January 5, 2022 were changed, but they did not affect the sanitary protocols for the entry of Russian citizens.
Russian tourists who are vaccinated against covid still do not need PCR tests, a certificate with a negative test result will be enough for the unvaccinated.
To enter Cuba, Russian tourists still need to provide either a certificate of vaccination in English (Cuba recognizes all Russian COVID-19 vaccines) or a certificate of negative PCR test for coronavirus made 72 hours before departure from the host country.
The certificate must be in paper format with the original seal in Russian and English. Children under 12 years of age do not need any certificates and certificates.
The only change in the rules of entry for Russian tourists in 2022 concerns the preliminary filling in of an electronic questionnaire on the D’Viajeros portal. This should be done 72 hours, but not later than 12 hours before departure.
Previously, the form was filled in paper form, but from January 1, 2022, the application form for entry is possible only online.
The D'Viajeros platform is available on the portal of the Ministry of Transport of Cuba.
The Cuban authorities predict that more than 200,000 of our compatriots will visit the country in 2022.
