In Adygea began to develop a new type of tourism – cable crossings

A new type of tourism with the romantic name “Via Ferrata” began to develop in Adygea. Translated from Italian, it means “road of iron”. Its first elements, including the cable crossing, have already been installed in the picturesque gorge of the Meshoko River, near the village of Kamennomostsky.

Via Ferrata is a climbing park specially equipped with metal structures that help to overcome it with greater speed and less energy. The troll, or cable crossing, is ready. In the troll, the visitor “goes” along the rope using a special suspension. The length of the crossing is 333 meters. The cable is stretched under a slope at an altitude of about 200 meters above the Meshoko gorge. Everyone can ride on it now, regardless of age, weight and gender. While after flying over the abyss, you have to return to the launch site by car, but, according to the organizers, very soon the extreme route will be looped.

According to the director of the company “Oshten-Tour” Murat Berzegov, there will be a second cable, in the opposite direction – the cycle will be completed in September. The plans are to make the park a year-round object: in summer climbing will be supplemented with canyoning and horseback riding, in winter they will try ice climbing on frozen waterfalls.
