Anapa authorities are repairing and expanding streets ahead of the holiday season.
It is expected that due to the temporary closure of the airport, road loads in the city will increase.
Mayor Vasily Shvets said: “By the end of the year, we must provide a stable alternative to entering and leaving the city. Mirnaya Street will be connected to the Anapa highway through the 2nd Shevchenko, and then arrange a passage in the direction of the Supsekh highway.
The main flow of tourists will be redirected to rail transport to avoid transport collapse and ensure the availability of the resort.
The number of cars will be doubled. The schedule includes 19 additional trains in May, 32 in June. Trains from Minsk, Krasnoyarsk, Yekaterinburg, Murmansk, Tomsk, Irkutsk, Novokuznetsk, Kirov, Ufa, Smolensk and other cities were added.
