In Bahrain The construction of the largest underwater theme park on the planet goes to the final stage. The main element of the park should be the flooded famous Boeing 747.
According to Arabian Business, the underwater park will occupy 100,000 square meters, and the Boeing will become a point of attraction for divers and the world’s largest sunken aircraft.
Also underwater will be replicas of traditional Bahraini pearl farms, artificial reefs for coral growth and shelter for the inhabitants of the sea.
Bahraini authorities expect that the largest underwater park will be able to attract diving enthusiasts from around the world, and will help researchers in the field of marine biology and ecology.
It is planned that the park will be open by the summer of this year.
