In Britain, tourists will have to pay a visa deposit

The UK introduces a visa deposit of one thousand pounds for those tourists who enter the country on a temporary visa. However, this will affect only those countries where there is a high level of immigrant risk.

“We are faced with the problem of people staying in the UK on a visa, going beyond the deadline for their stay or going illegal,” said Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg. According to him, the new system implies that the guests of the country will make a special state account cash deposit, which, in case of violation of the terms of stay in the country, will be confiscated.

The group of the most risky in terms of immigration flow included Bangladesh, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and a number of countries in the Middle East and Africa. Russia, Kazakhstan and Ukraine are not included in this list.
