Finland to open two new national parks

Two new national parks will open in Finland. The new park areas will be located in the Salo region, there will be Teyio Park, and the second will be located in the southern part of Lake Connevesi.

According to Minister Ville Niinisto, who is responsible for the environment of Finland, in addition to preserving the country’s natural resources, it is important that the new parks will have a positive impact on the development of tourism. It will also provide jobs and resume employment growth in these regions. This is due to both the parks and the influx of tourists.

It was also planned to open a national park near the city of Kainuu, but the project is under discussion.
