In Germany, rivers are coming out of banks
In Brandenburg in southeastern Germany, there is a rather sharp rise in the water level in the rivers. The reason for this was the rain that has been going on for four consecutive days. The Schwarze-Elster River in some parts of the country has already overflowed through dams built just for this occasion. And near the city of Ruland, an entire section of the Dresden-Berlin expressway was flooded, and traffic on it stopped. The highest - the fourth category - in terms of water level was exceeded by 20 cm in the city of Bad Liebenverd. Now there urgently strengthen the sand dam, which is constantly monitored. In flood areas, about 250 rescuers work, they constantly pump water from basements, and also reinforce sandbags areas that may be flooded.
