On New Year’s Eve, Moscow transport will work longer

Moscow authorities decided to increase the working day of public transport on New Year’s Eve. As in the city hall of the capital, from December 31 to January 1, as well as on Christmas night from January 6 to 7, the metro will not close until two o’clock in the morning, and the rest of the ground transport – trolleybuses, trams and buses heading to sleeping areas – until three o’clock in the morning. But it should be noted that some of the stations on the festive night will only work for transfer and exit. According to the clarification of the mayor’s office, these are Chekhovskaya, Lubyanka, Kuznetsky Bridge, Hunting Row, Revolution Square, Theatrical, Alexander Garden, Pushkinskaya, Tverskaya, Borovitskaya, China City, Mayakovskaya, Lenin Library. I am glad that for the holidays, public transport will be decorated with garlands and colorful congratulations. And drivers, by tradition, will turn into Santa Claus for a while.
