On May 26, the Crimean authorities will return to discussing the work of sanatorium-resort institutions. This statement was made on May 19 by the head of the republic Sergey Aksenov.

The main condition for the start of the season on the peninsula is the positive dynamics of infections in the region and in Russia as a whole. But even in this case, the normal operation of the resorts is possible only after the approval of the federal authorities.

On May 19, 4 new cases of COVID-19 infection were registered in the republic. The total number of infected people is 298.
