In the Crimea will open a gambling zone “Golden coast”

The head of the government of the Russian Federation D. Medvedev ordered to create in the Crimea gambling zone “Golden coast”.

The document on the portal of legal information informs about plans to create a gambling zone on the territory of the municipality of the city district of Yalta (Republic of Crimea). At the end of 2018, the city council of Yalta transferred a land plot in Katsiveli for the construction of a gambling zone from the municipal to state ownership.

It is planned that the area of the gambling zone will be 14,685 hectares.

In accordance with the law “On state regulation of activities on the organization and conduct of gambling”, gambling establishments in the Russian Federation can operate within special zones.

Now in Russia opened 4 gambling zones: "Amber" (Kaliningrad region), "Red glade" (Krasnodar region), "Primorye" (Primorsky Krai) and "Siberian coin" (Altai Krai). The Azov City gambling zone officially closed at the end of 2018.
