In the Crimea completely abandoned the resort fee
The Ministry of resorts and tourism of the Crimea reported that the Republic will not postpone the timing of the experiment to levy the resort fee, and completely refuses to support the tourist business, which began to actively develop after the opening of the automobile part of the Crimean bridge. This was stated by Vadim Volchenko, the head of the department.
According to him, amendments to the federal law on the experiment with the aim of Crimea’s withdrawal from it are being prepared for submission to the State Duma.
The head of the republic Sergey Aksenov: “We have already sent a letter to the government of the Russian Federation with a request to exclude the republic from this experiment.”
According to S. Aksenov, the prospect of earning 30-50 million rubles on the collection almost makes no sense, because the administration of this task costs about the same amount: “In this regard, I do not see any sense to arrange a collection for the sake of collection and at the same time create problems for tourists and tour operators.”
It is believed that this decision was made in connection with appeals from representatives of the tourism business. According to the head of the ministry, travelers are going to Crimea, and the restraints in the form of an experiment “rather harm than help” the future development of the region.
