By June 1, mobile operators in Crimea will be ready to cancel national roaming.
This was stated by Vadim Pervykh, Deputy Minister of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of the Republic.
The reason for the innovation is that the relevant federal law will come into force on June 1, 2019.
Telecom operators providing mobile radiotelephone services on the territory of the republic report their readiness to implement the requirements of the law within the period established by law.
It is worth noting that large Russian operators (the well-known four) do not work on the peninsula due to the danger of imposing sanctions. Services are provided by local operators "K-Telecom" (brand Win-mobile), "KTK-Telecom" ("wave mobile") and others.
