Moscow

In Moscow issued the first passports issued via the Internet.

Already today, the Moscow Department of the Federal Migration Service will issue passports, the registration of which took only a few minutes. The online registration service exists a little more than a month (according to official data, the service began work on April 1, but this does not correspond to reality) and almost three thousand Muscovites have already used it. This procedure is quite simple: first, the user enters the portal of public services, registers there, receives a login and password from the administration, then fills out a questionnaire in the section “citizenship, visas, registration”. After some time, the user receives an answer when he can approach the FMS with all the documents. If there are errors in the questionnaire, it will be sent back for editing. Of course, many people wonder whether this service is available to residents of other cities. Unfortunately, this question remains unanswered.
