In the Public Chamber began work hotline for tourists

On April 29, the Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation launched an annual hotline to protect the rights of tourists.

According to Elena Sutormina, Chairman of the Commission of the Public Chamber for the Development of Public Diplomacy, Humanitarian Cooperation and Preservation of Traditional Values, travelers can ask for help at any time.

“On the phone 8-800-737-77-66, as well as with the help of a special electronic form on the oprf website, citizens who find themselves in a difficult situation while on vacation can ask for help. The site may be accessed around the clock.”

In order to avoid problems, tourists must ensure the reliability of the tour operator on the electronic resources of Rostourism and Tourist Assistance. You should also get medical insurance, remember the coordinates of the Russian Consulate in the host country and take photocopies of passports with you.
